Shri Bhatraund Bihari Mandir Needs Your Help: Please Help Protect Our Glorious Heritage

Our appeal is urgent:  Please help to preserve one of Shri Vrindavan's most ancient and revered treasures, the Shri Bhatraund Bihari Mandir. This sacred temple stands tall on the 5,000 year old Holy Site that is glorified in Srimad Bhagavatam - 10.23.21

यमुनोपवनेऽशोकनवपल्लवमण्डिते ।

विचरन्तं वृतं गोपै: साग्रजं दद‍ृशु: स्त्रिय:

yamunopavane ’śoka

nava-pallava-maṇḍite

vicarantaṁ vṛtaṁ gopaiḥ

sāgrajaṁ dadṛśuḥ striyaḥ

“Near the Yamunā river, within a garden decorated with buds of aśoka trees, the wives of the brahmanas caught sight of Him strolling along in the company of the cowherd boys and His elder brother, Balarāma.”

The beautiful Sri Bhatraund Bihari Temple is located at the very place where these most fortunate ladies brought their food with great eagerness and devotion to feed Lord Shri Krishna, Shri Balaram and their cowherd boyfriends over 5,200 years ago.

This site is a significant part of our spiritual and cultural heritage.

Within the temple grounds lies a Gaushala housing over seventy cows. When Lord Krishna manifested His pastimes at Bhatraund Bihari, He personally cared for the cows with His own hands. Now, the cows are dependent on us for their well-being. Here's what's needed:

The temple faces a critical shortage of funds, making it imperative that we come together to ensure its survival.

The temple requires immediate renovation to restore its former glory and maintain its sanctity. The saintly sadhus who live there are dedicated to serving Lord Krishna, and they need your support to continue their selfless service.
